Welcome to Rebel Strokes

Hey there! Imagine a place where art isn’t just something to admire from afar, but a rich, living conversation about what it means to be alive. That’s what Rebel Strokes is all about. It’s not your usual art newsletter; it’s a deep dive into the heart and soul of creativity and the human condition.

Each issue, we’re jumping headfirst into the colorful, sometimes chaotic world of art that tells our stories—the joy, the struggle, the mundane, and the extraordinary. It’s about the pulse of life captured on canvas, in sculpture, through lenses, and via pixels.

From the art that adorns the walls of ancient caves to the digital masterpieces shaping our future, we’re on a mission to explore how creativity bridges our past, present, and future.

In each issue, I dive deep into the vibrant world of art, exploring how artists across history and around the globe have used their brushes, chisels, and cameras as instruments of change.

Join me as I explore diverse art forms - from painting and sculpture to digital creation, music and street performances. I'll delve into the lives of iconic rebel artists, analyze famous and lesser-known works, and discuss how art has been a vehicle for protest, cultural transformation and social commentary.

Whether you're an art enthusiast, a creative soul, or simply curious about the intersection of art, social change and activism, "Rebel Strokes" offers a thought-provoking, inspiring, and captivating perspective into the world of art that dares to make a difference.

About the Author

I am neither a Millennial, nor a Baby Boomer, I am a Xennial, a Multipotentialite, a lost procrastinating soul who loves art.

In 1980, Madrid gave me life, a Xennial caught between analog roots and digital growth.

My childhood: a rocky road, softened by my grandmother's nurturing love and art.

At 23, Dublin's embrace led me to discover photography, capturing life's unfiltered essence.

Lisbon then painted three years of my journey with vibrant cultural strokes.

Love drew me to Aarhus in 2016, where art and entrepreneurship intertwined.

Fatherhood in 2022 added a new, joyous layer to my life's canvas.

Each chapter, from tech endeavors to creative pursuits, weaves into my story of resilience, exploration, and the ever-evolving human experience.
